Cruise travel insurance

Your regular travel insurance doesn't always give you the cover needed for cruise insurance,

A pleasure voyage of more than 72 hours duration, sailing as a passenger on a purpose built ship on sea/s or oceans that may include stops at various ports.

Just some of the great benefits included

Missed port departure

We will pay up to the amount shown in the table of benefits for reasonable additional accommodation (room only) and travel expenses, necessarily incurred to rejoin your cruise ship at the next docking point if you fail to arrive at the international departure point in time to board the ship.

Statesman/ cabin confinement

We will pay up to the amount shown in the table of benefits for each 24 hours that you are confined to your cabin on medical grounds during the period of the trip on the advice of the ships medical officer.

Unused prebooked excursions

We will pay up to the amount shown in the table of benefits for the cost of prebooked excursions, which you were unable to use as a direct result of you being confined to your cabin due to an accident or illness which is covered under Section B1 of the policy wording – medical and other expenses outside of the United Kingdom

Cruise connection

We will pay up to the amount shown in the table of benefits for additional travel expenses incurred to reach the next port in order to rejoin the ship, following your temporary illness requiring hospital treatment on dry land.
