Wuhan Coronavirus Latest Advice

7th February 2020

If you’re thinking of travelling to or from a country that’s been affected by the Wuhan Novel Coronavirus, we recommend that you keep up to date with the latest news via Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), about travel restrictions that could influence your trip.

As the FCDO have advised against all but essential travel to mainland China, most UK insurers have withdrawn cover for the area. These restrictions may increase if the outbreak continues to spread through other countries.

If you’ve recently returned from a country that has reported cases of the virus and you begin to feel unwell with symptoms like a high temperature, dry cough or shortness of breath call 111 immediately. For more information on how to deal with symptoms and keeping yourself healthy visit the NHS Website.
